From Corner to Corner is a fun variant of Chinese checkers for one to four players, each of whom can be either a computer or a human. Best described as a 4-way version of Chinese checkers, the object of the game is to get all your marbles into the colored "home" directly opposite of you before any of your opponents. You can either move one space in any direction, or by jumping any other marble on the board. Like in standard game of checkers, this allows you to jump very long distances as long as there are enough marbles on the way to jump over. The game is easy enough for the kids, with 3 levels of difficulty that do make a difference. Although the game is not as inventive as GAMOS’ other puzzlers, it is an accessible and very enjoyable game that checkers fans should take a look. Thumbs up!

Note: Although GAMOS games are marketed as shareware and the downloadable versions are labeled “demo”, they are actually full games that are identical to registered version—except for the “please register” nag screen that shows up occasionally. So download the “demo” today and register to help support one of the best, and most underrated, puzzle game companies today :)
