Ninja Rabbits and its sequel International Ninja Rabbits are two "faithful" conversions of a pair of terrible Commodore 64 games of the same names that star you as a rabbit who is tasked with saving a factory from certain destruction. You do this by going to various locations in one city in Ninja Rabbits and various international cities in International Ninja Rabbits including Japan, Italy, and USA - to battle hordes of evil rabbits, humans and other animals, all skilled in martial arts. Despite the interesting and novel premise, the games are quite horrendous due to bad controls, ridiculously easy gameplay, drab background palettes, and jerky/slow animations of everything that moves. Fortunately, there are only three stages in each of the games, so it might worth a look for fans of bad games to see another shining example of a Real Dog. It's also quite interesting to note that International Ninja Rabbits, despite being released two years after the original, inherits all of the bad gameplay of Ninja Rabbits - upgrading only graphics. Oh well - some developers never learn ;)
