Fear opens with an intriguing premise: you must overcome your phobias. The game's strengths lie in well-designed puzzles relating to different phobias that can be solved in any order. Each time you conquer a phobia, you learn something new about yourself. Fear is not a truly "classic" game, but it's a solid adventure based on a novelpremise that shouldn't be overlooked. Another great thing about the game is that, being written for the IF competition, it's also a fairly short game that can be finished in a few hours. This makes it perfect for anyone new to the genre. Thumbs up!
