Another excellent freeware action gem from Blackeye Software, Dive & Destroy is underwater shoot-em-up at its best, with plenty of enemy subs and sealife, solid controls, and a variety of weapons to use. You can use depth charges, fire torpedoes or missiles (each with very cool bubbly trajectory and sound effects), and collect power-ups that appear. As with all other games from Blackeye, the cartoony graphics are superb, and different enemy subs have their own attacks and weaknesses. Overall, an excellent freeware gem all-around that is perfect for a few minutes of coffee-break fun, especially if you enjoy anime/cartoon games. Two thumbs up!Reviewed by: Underdogs | |
