The game is played from the perspective of the manager's appointment book. For every day of the week, you must choose which action to perform, e.g. training, recruiting, play a friendly match, etc. As a management sim, you have no control over the match itself, although you can always switch tactics and call substitutions during game. The game is neither as realistic nor captivating as the best SMGs out there (e.g. Premier Manager series), but it does have its own charm, in particular the humorous tidbits that are dotted throughout the game (such as the Chairman's office, which I won't spoil here). Despite low replayability, the game should provide some hours of fun for armchair managers who like the lighter side of the sport. If you like the game, also try Match Day Manager-- essentially the same game, but for UK league.
