A small but very influential developer, Omnitrend was well known for its complex strategy games such as Breach series, which feature innovative ability to "plug in" stand-alone tactical modules e.g. Rules of Engagement into the larger strategic-level games. In mid-1990s, Omnitrend quietly changed course to become a hardware supplier.
