Microplay was private label of MicroProse that was merged into the mother company sometime in mid-1990s. Microplay developed a number of excellent strategy titles in late 1980s and early 1990s, most designed at the UK headquarters. Microplay games typically received lower-profile billing than MicroProse releases, but they were by no means inferior.
