In Bob the old hunter, VanFossen has created what for many of us is Planetfall's Floyd in the 90's: a thoroughly entertaining and realistic NPC who will go about his business regardless of your actions, and who can really talk your ears off if you let him. The game also contains many other well-coded distractions and embellishments that will make you want to forget the main plot (finding your way to rendezvous with your fiance at a spring) for a little while. Two thumbs up, way up!
