Fanta Vision is an excellent graphics application that allows you to design your own movies by drawing pictures, animating them, and adding sound. The program was very sophisticated for its time (1988), considering the range of options it offered. The game combines an excellent user interface, a wide range of colors, and a nice animation engine that is capable of producing film clips that can be a few minutes short or much longer. It’s a shame that the maker went out of business soon after its release, leaving the program falling into undeserved obscurity. Certainly for what it does, it can’t compare to modern animation programs. But for 1988, this was arguably the best application of its kind.
