The Big One is an innovative (and the only?) game that simulates the effects of an earthquake hitting Los Angeles. It is your job as mayor to restore order to the city retaining public approval. You must allocate resources efficiently to cope with a multitude of problems that arise from the disaster, e.g. dispatching utility crew to repair broken gas lines, evacuating people from fires, and sending national guards to subdue riots. It's fast, fun, and easy to get into, with good on-line help to boot.
